From the North
From San Luis Obispo, Santa Maria and points north on Hwy 101:
- Take Hwy 101 south to the Los Olivos/Hwy 154 turnoff.
- Stay on Hwy 154 to Paradise Rd for 24 miles.
- Turn left onto Paradise Rd. (abrupt left turn, 1 mile past golf course) and travel 5 miles to the resort entrance.

From the West
From Buellton, Solvang or Santa Ynez:
- Take Hwy 246 east to Hwy 154.
- Turn right toward Santa Barbara and travel approximately 20 miles to Paradise Rd.
- Turn left (abrupt left turn, 1 mile past golf course).
- Travel 5 miles to the resort entrance.

From the the South
From L.A., Ventura and Santa Barbara and points south:
- Take Highway 101 north to State Street in Santa Barbara
- Go straight at the end of the off ramp for .4 miles t Highway 154 (San Marcos Pass)
- Turn right and travel for 11 miles to Paradise Road. Go slow when approaching Paradises Road as you have a very sharp right turn there.
- Proceed 5 miles to the Rancho Oso entrance road. If you cross the Santa Ynez River you have gone too far. Turn around.
- Our entrance road is about 1.2 miles to the Ranger Station.

Additional information:
- Coming from Santa Barbara: Hwy 154 winds uphill for 8 miles from Santa Barbara. There are passing lanes and turnouts. Paradise Rd. is 1 mile past the Vista Point and is an abrupt downhill right turn.
