California Ranch Experience 
At Rancho Oso we strive to provide an authentic ranch experience for adults or youth groups. Recommended age for youth is 8th grade or higher. Beginners always welcome! We structure our programs around the horses and add extra activities of interest for the specific group we are hosting. Our beautiful mountain location adds a “far away” feel to the experience, yet we’re easily accessible by road and air from any location. This 3-night, 4-day program is offered midweek only, from October 1– April 1. A minimum of 10 riders is needed to reserve this activity. We are happy to customize our programs to suit your group’s needs.
Program Activities May Include the Following
Horse handling and safety orientation, wagon rides, riding lessons, trail rides, horse care, campfires with smores, roping lessons, arena events, daily feeding of horses and cattle, hike to hidden waterfall, native wild animal presentation, docent-led wildlife cruise at Lake Cachuma, Western line dancing lessons with live music, pool party, movies, volleyball, tennis.
All activities and meals, including unlimited snacks and drinks, plus a beautiful souvenir picture plaque of each participant and their horse are included in the per person price. Call us for a quote.
